Text Box: is a 4˝ day interactive workshop developed by Dr. Ken Williams.  As a missionary himself with over 30 years of experience, he observed the tremendous need for equipping missionaries worldwide to better interact with one another and their national hosts.  As one of the Text Box: facilitators for the workshop, Rosie helped lead discussions on such topics as loving listening, building trust, managing conflict Biblically, encouragement, and confrontation, to name a few.  The workshop had 16 participants, including Nigerian pastors and Text Box: Christian workers, missionaries from Korea, the United States, and Singapore – all serving together in Nigeria.  The workshop was extremely well received, with participants and facilitators leaving challenged to glorify God in their relationships.
Text Box: Sharpening Your Interpersonal Skills
Text Box: One of the women in Rosie’s Bible study is the producer and host of a weekly radio program. She  invited us to be interviewed on her program. Believing God had divinely arranged this avenue for ministry, we accepted the challenge as a huge step of faith for both Text Box: of us.  Throughout the hour long program, she asked us questions on the topic of marriage.  This gave us opportunity to share the Biblical purposes of marriage, the roles of husband and wife, and common problems areas we observe in our ministry with Text Box: couples.  Several listeners called in with questions which we were able to address.  Now she has requested us to be guests on her television program.  We will likely set a date for July or August.  Please pray for us!

Text Box: Personal Integrity
Text Box: was the title of the sermon Tom gave at our church in early May.  Widespread corruption in Nigeria, even within the Christian church, is a constant Text Box: reminder of the need to confront the issue of integrity.  Tom challenged the church through a look at Daniel’s uncompromising life, as Text Box: well as numerous verses in the book of Proverbs. He concluded by encouraging each individual to walk a life of integrity in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Text Box: group interaction and fun activities, (with plenty of opportunity to speak English) the project kids are able to share their faith and challenge Hungarian youth Text Box: Nathanael will spend the majority of his summer in Hungary.  He will be a part of a mission project with the High School ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ, Student Venture.  “Speak Out Hungary” seeks to expose young Hungarians to the claims of Jesus as they attend a summer camp to improve their English skills.  Through times of small Text Box: to consider a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  Nathanael is looking forward to the project.  Pray God would use him this summer.

Text Box: During his first year of college Jesse found himself uncertain about a major.  He is presently considering nursing.  Certain that experience Text Box: would be helpful, he completed a Nurses Aide training course, enabling him to pursue a summer job as an aide.  At the moment he is waiting to Text Box: take the state exam before he can apply for jobs.  Pray Jesse becomes more certain as to his future and grows from this experience.
Text Box: With only one year to go before completing his degree in Wildlife Science, Aaron felt the need to gain experience working in his field.  God clearly provided this great job for Aaron with the State of Text Box: Utah. Traveling each week in RV’s to various sites in northern Utah, Aaron and his co-workers spend long hours surveying and assessing vegetation and grazing.  On a 5-year cycle, the game habitat of each Text Box: region of the state is evaluated.  Although the job is tedious, Aaron enjoys being outside in God’s creation and practically applying the plants class he took this last year for a good purpose.
